Arratex offers versatile twisting machines containing the widest range of software for twisting, pre-twisting, assembling, covering, cabling, and for making fancy-effect textile threads. Arratex has been designing twisting machines using 2x1 hollow spindle for the two main processes, cold and thermo, suitable for both garment and upholstery:
Cold Process :
- Standard 2x1 twisting machine.
- Muline assembling twisting and pre-twisting.
- Muline covering including elastic threads.
- Fancy yarn effects production.
Thermo Process :
- Twisting and thermo-setting.
- Fancy yarn thermo-effects production.

Knowledge :
2x1 twisting machines were mainly developed for commodities such as "voile" for upholstery, low twist textured yarns and crepe yarns for garment. An important evolution on its main mechanical accessory has been the "cabling" version of the 2x1 spindle, which introduced the threads doubling process.
This has been the chance that led to develop versatile twisting machines.
